    About the Journal:


    Cryptogam Biodiversity and Assessment is a biannual peer reviewed journal dedicated to cryptogams (algae, fungi, lichens, bryophytes and pteridophytes) and their systematics, ecology, diversity, biomonitoring, bioprospection, conservation, climate change and other allied themes. Cryptogam Biodiversity and Assessment publishes the most significant research across the basic and applied research on cryptogam. The journal follows the standards for high-quality science set by the Indian Lichenological Society. 


    About the Indian Lichenological Society (ILS)


    ILS is a registered society under the Society Registration Act 1860, with its Head Quarter at Lucknow. The major aim of the society is to promote lichen research in India. The society aims to encourage research and developmental activity for the advancement in aspects of Lichenology and other cryptogams. By constituting the society we intend to bring together all lichen researchers scattered all over the country under a single platform.
