Abstract

Soil microbial communities play a very vital role in soil ecosystem as they regulate the biogeochemical cycles. They are also responsible
for most of the organic matter decomposition. Therefore a certain change in the climate directly or indirectly influences the structure and
function of soil microbial communities in soil, which in turn influence the nutrient cycle in ecosystem. However, little is known about how
such increase influences soil microbial communities. In the present review we have focused on the role of the microbial communities in
soil ecosystem as well as impact of CO , temperature, precipitation, etc. on soil microbial communities.
